I have 1 pure Black Copper Marans rooster, 4 BCM/RSL mutt hens, 5 of the cutest Buff Orpington pullets you've ever seen, although I strongly suspect one is a cockerel, and the only 2 survivors from a horrendous hatch of BCM ( 12 set, 4 hatched, 2 culled).Me too! Did you find your hens? If not, I have a friend with a pair of black copper marans - roo and hen. She will only let them go as a pair, but they are nice birds and have been handled a lot. I can check back with her, if you'd like.I am here looking to purchase locally 3 hens. 1 year old would be great...

She has two young Black Copper Marans roosters (not perfect, but nice quality, she says) and possibly two young hens (or pullets, I'm not sure.) I've never had to make personal contact on BYC, so I don't know how to share a phone number without making it public. Any ideas?
Hi from Northeastern Maryland. Did you ever find your hens? If you're still interested, I have some nice bantams - a small starter flock of 1 gold laced Sebright cockerel and four pullets - 2 each of both silver and gold laced.I am here looking to purchase locally 3 hens. 1 year old would be great...
