Hello from Marysville, Ohio

I'm not big for words (unless in person).
After searching and searching and keep finding this site I figured id might as well sign up.

My wife 3 kid and I bought this house on 5 acres this past January, we have always wanted chickens for eggs and our kids to be more left sufficient .

I am attaching a photo of the property.

We do have 6 new ducklings and 12 chicklings just waiting to get out side.


and that make me think of a question. I see some people have small pools in the duck coop. If you have a big pond how would you keep the ducks safe but just allow then to use the big pond?
