Hi there everyone like stated in the title we are from Washington and just about a month ago picked up our first Chickens!!! We have two hens that are about 12 weeks old. Peep is a Barred Rock, and Shiver is a Bantam. Right now we are in the process of building our girls a coop. We will post design and story later when finished.
Glad to have found such a wonderful forum on chickens!! Its very exciting to see how they behave and just live life, we are going to get more this spring, we'll probably have a total of seven which is the limit where we live. Its gonna be very exciting to have fresh eggs and help with cleaning up after the Goats we are going to get!!
We look forward to getting to know more people on this forum and what knowledge and experiences others have experienced in the life of raising chickens.
