Hello from me and my girls in the UK!

Hello :frow and Welcome back to BYC! Sounds like you have a nice little group of girls. Emma, Nutmeg and Scarlette are lucky to have found such a wonderful new home, am sure they appreciate it.

Thankyou! I would love to share pictures but having trouble!

My next challenge with my girls is worming against tapeworms. My poor ex battery girls are affected. I already wormed with Flubenvet a month ago and am no longer seeing roundworm evidence however the tapeworms are still there!

I've been doing my homework on this site, and have found out these tapeworms are tricky. I have ordered the horse wormer paste and am waiting for it to arrive! I will be collecting the eggs for two weeks after and feeding them back to the hens during the withdrawal period.

I have been visiting my allotment today and there are a couple of hens kept there by residents. One that belongs to a very old man has such bad scaly leg she is barely walking, I feel so sorry for her! I don't want to be rude to the old gent, but want to do something to help this poor hen! What should I do? I have a little pot of cream, I wondered if I should put it in a bag with a note and pin it to the hen's coop? He is probably unaware that you can buy things in petshops for hens now, and it didn't cost me much.
