What a morning, picked up my 30 buff orps this morning from the post office and joined the BYC all before noon. I ordered my chicks from McMurray and was a little concerned that they might not all make it after I read on here last week where someone had some DOA's in their McMurray shipment. They were all alive and seem to have a good bit of spunk. I have been reading/following the BYC for a while now, ( getting valuable coop info and the likes) and hope I'm somewhat ready to get started. My coop is still a couple of weeks from done, but by the time my chicks and four weeks old I should be all set.
