Well i would like to introduce myself to the forum.

Currently i am residing in Mexico and recently i got some Quail so i'm trying to do some breeding with them, later on i'm hoping on getting other species like Peafowl and Pheasants
At the ranch we also got Chcken and Ducks

Well that's all, any advice or tips i'll be glady to take them.

Ps. i need help building the most easy to build incubator (any ideas) down in Mexico it's hard to find the parts needed to make most incubators so i wwant a simple design with easy to find material.

Greetings and

You could do a search for "do it yourself incubators." Many people do tinker around and make their own but I don't know if the materials would be available to you.

Buenas Tardes and Bien Venidos! Good afternoon and welcome!

Are you interested in game pheasants such as ringneck or ornamental? I have ornamental pheasants but I'm not a breeder - have just a few as pets. I have bred and raised a few in incubator. Ornamental pheasants, particularly Chinese Reds are very difficult to breed naturally. Horrible mothers and brooders but incubate nicely.

I also have 21 chickens of various types kept as pets and for eggs.

You will love BYC - people on here are very nice and caring and a wealth of knowledge. Welcome!

Well , once you get your incubator you can hatch some. Pheasants are terrible brooders and mothers (at least many ornamental types) but hatch pretty well in incubators.

I found my hatchlings to be a bit more fragile and susceptible to respiratory illness than my chickens. I am not sure about shipping regulations between US and Mexico but you could research. There are surely some good breeders in Mexico too. Another breed I am interested in is Lady Amherst. They are lovely.

Our family visited England last year and there were many beautiful pheasantries at the great country estates and castles. Buena Suerte!
