Hello, from Michigan

Hi, I decided about a month ago that I was interested in having some chickens. I have been reading posts here ever since. Reading all the info and conversations here has been very helpful. I have a bunch a great ideas for building a coop (we are building it into the kids' jungle gym area!), and I feel like I know what I am doing with the chicks for the most part (Thank You for that, everyone!).

I got my chicks one week ago when they were 3 days old. I have 4 of them, and I plan to have up to 8 at some point. I am so excited about having pet chickens, and l especially look forward to having fresh eggs to eat. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
