Hi ,,,I am hoping I can get some help here about my chickens. I must say,,,I am a greenhorn when it comes to this. After 2 years of wanting chickens I built me a coop this year.

I bought some pullets from TSC,,,9 total. I am now wondering what kind of chickens they are.lol They are about 7 weeks old now and are mostly brown/gold with some white areas. Any ideas or do I need to wait till they get older to really tell?

and pictures would be helpful for IDs. I'd say they're probably golden comets though based on TSC history.

,,but Im sure it wont be the last.

Do you think there is something wrong with my girls?lol A few of them seem to be lacking feathers around thier head area.Is this normal?

I can't say whether it's "normal" or not - but I'm sure they're fine if they're acting the same. Some are just slower to mature than others.

Yes, normal. My Black Stars from TSC still haven't feathered out fully on their heads.
