Hi From Westland. I have been fighting predators all year. Had a possom get into my house in September and kill 9 new hatched chicks. Lived here almost 20 years and never had a problem. Thought we predator-proofed everything and still had some problems. Finally in an all fenced in acre of land we set traps and caught anything stupid enough to try and get to my birds. I hated doing it because I love animals, but, enough is enough! Had a coyote last summer that jumped a six foot fence and now, the 22 sits by the back door. I have hopes for more chicks, thinking about building a coop inside a 10 x 30 dog pen on a slab, might just work with a few more tweaks. Glad to know you
