Howdy chicks n roos! Name is Amiti. Mother of 2 n GMA to 2.75... lol. Always loved farm life but never lived it. I'm finally getting a chance. As a mother's day/bday gift, my daughter built a coop for me and gave me 3 of her hens (my favs). She gave me food n oyster shell, an anatomy lesson, and advice to join this site (ashlymommaward is her username I think). Read all the intro stuff n this is my first post.
I love all animals (not including arachnids as animals) and nature, but zero experience with chickens save feeding others birds, but so excited to start. I have a tractor style coop, 2 wyandottes and an easter egger (all hens). I've had them 3 days n already have 3 eggs!
Looking forward to reading about everybody's experiences!
