Hello All,
It is great to be a part of the family. I am sorry that I have not replied in a while, but I have been finishing my Bachelor's degree and getting things ready to get this farm reopened. We took that first step a couple of weeks ago and bought our first flock; we have 51 birds in total they consist of White & Brown Leghorns hens and 1 White Leghorn rooster, Silver Ameraucanas, Barred Rocks, 2 Black Sex Links, 2 Jersey Giants, and several red roasters. This is definitely a new experience for me, but my wife is an old hand at this and making things a bit easier for me. I have gained a lot of knowledge from reading all of your posts and am thankful that you all are out there. Thanks again for the support. Oh, by the way my granddaughter thinks it's great that we have chickens she can't wait to come up here and name them all. After all, she is the Boss.
