Hello everyone,
I have been coming to this community for information, and have finally decided to join in the fun. I have been asked to remove my hens from my homestead by the city code enforcement officer. The local man I got my hen and chicks from offered to give me some space on his land to use and raise my flock there. With no other choice at this time, I am going to take him up on his kind offer :) While it is not ideal and not what I had hoped for, it will give me some time to see about changing the codes in my area, or look at relocating. I look forward to meeting new friends here.

Oh, that is awful that you are being forced to remove your birds from your property! I can't imagine someone coming here and telling me to get rid of my birds. But at least you have a very nice friend in this man willing to let you keep your birds on his land!! He is a life saver!!

We do have a section on Chicken Laws and How To Change Them that you might want to join in on. Maybe you can get those laws changed....
