Welcome to BYC from West TN ! A good place to Start is the Learning Center, and if you don't find the answers there type the question in the search bar. Or just ask plenty of good people here to share the Knowledge. Hope your not in the way of these Circular Winds.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Great place to start is the BYC Learning Center, lots of good articles on all aspects of chicken keeping you might find helpful. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center For figuring out how much space you want, this is a great article www.backyardchickens.com/a/how-much-room-do-chickens-need
And it is always fun to check out your state thread for chicken keeping neighbors and any advice they may have for building a coop or breeds they find do well in your area https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/25131/m-i-crooked-letter-crooked-letter-ahh-nevermind-mississippi

Welcome to BYC!

The learning center is the best place to start to answer all these questions you have. Lots of articles to help you understand and learn. Kelsie has left you with the link.

Good luck in this new adventure you are on and welcome to our flock!

Alright frodo,

Inside my coop look how it is set up ...

Feed 24/7 and clean water always and nice and warm no drafts

Try this as it is natural and clean a mashed up hard boiled egg once a day
for the first week after that is on you this will help with growth of feathers
and a healthy strong body ......
