Hello from Mississippi!

Hi all, I am a total rookie at backyard chickens. I have 4 hens for about a year and just got 13 new pullets that are now 7 weeks old. Love my chickens. They are so entertaining and the eggs are wonderful! (Only 4 are laying).

Hi and welcome to BYC. The learning centre is a great source of info, so I'd suggest you take a look there if you have not done so yet. In addition, your state thread (type your state in the search box) will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area. There's always something to learn even if you have been keeping chickens for a while.


Good to know that you have expanded your flock - we all do

. Not sure, but "Eleanor" may need an alternative name soon - good to have one on the back burner just in case.
