I have raised chickens for years as a hobby. I even trained them as I was growing up.

Chickens are much smarter than people think.

I have all kinds of animals. Goats, horses, dogs, cats, turkeys and cows. Also I love my purple martins.

You are right , they are smarter then I thought. But I out smarted mine babies today - ha ha ha ... I had them playing chase with me with a long piece of pine shaving. So I can see how you could 'train' them.
