Hello From MN/advice for legalizing chickens?

Hello everyone,

this is my first thread, just wondering if anyone has any advice as to how to help persuade officials into allowing Chickens in the city. i live in Mankato MN, pop. ~50,000. the city did 'try' it before but they made the regulations SO strict that no one was even able to get a permit in the alloted 2 yr trial period!
