My name is Sherry, and my husband and I cattle ranch in Montana...I have a flock of around 40 hens and a few Roosters...in winter they are locked in a large heated coop, but in spring into fall they free range plus are fed a variety of foods...
We also have 6 dogs, 3 cats, a potbelly pig, and 2 horses...
 
Hi Sherry59456! Welcome! I lived in the Bitterroot valley of MT for a year about a hundred years ago, it was so beautiful and I have never forgotten it. Hamilton, in fact. I picked the biggest, sweetest, darkest cherries up by Flathead Lake, Lamberts they were. My mouth still waters to remember them, much better than Bings. My then-DH and I hiked up to Tin Cup Lake to fish. It rained and I got hypothermia. Good times, good times! The huckleberries were so good that year! Thanks for joining BYC and bringing back a flood of memories! Welcome, welcome!
