Hello! I’m Ann in Raleigh, NC. I’ve had backyard chickens for years and have learned a ton from BYC. We currently have 3 hens - 1 Black Australorp and 2 “preschool specials,” as I call them, adopted from my kids‘ preschool after a chicken science unit. I think they are likely mixed breeds, perhaps Wyandotte and one with a Mohawk. Nevertheless they are a great little flock and we love them.
We are in the process of building them a new coop. I love all of the coop designs here! Looking forward to continuing to learn from everyone!
