Hi all,
I am a stay-at-home housewife and my mom's caregiver. My husband and I moved my mom in with us back in Jan '06 after her double mastectomy. (It's been almost 6 yrs to the day my mom had her surgery and her cancer has yet to return.) We also have 2 border collies, JJ & Jake and 1 border collie/aussie mix, Josie. When I'm having "one of those" days, all I have to do is sit down and watch my dogs. At least one of them will do something that brings a smile to my face.
My husband and I are looking for some property to retire to in a few years. We won't have any chickens until we do but I thought I would go ahead and try to learn as much as I can beforehand. I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of silly questions and ideas but all advice will be appreciated.
