Hello from NC!

We've been mulling the idea of getting some little chicks and after reading some great ideas on coops and runs I decided to join this web site and forum! A wealth of information here for sure!

We've been gardening and raising small crops for many years, but now want to expand into raising our own chickens and of course benefiting from the wonderful eggs they produce!!

We are just getting started with our "Boudreaux Family Farms" adventure, and it is mostly an idea at this point, but eventually we hope to be able to sell our produce, eggs, chickens, goats and live off what we don't sell. In the meantime, we are still learning and growing!

I noticed you have some ducks, we raised a couple of ducks years ago, and after they started flying out of our yard, we released them to a local park that had flocks of them around.
