My daughter and I are about to get some chickens! It's a project for a club she's in at school, but I think I'm going to enjoy it more than her!! Can't wait to get started !

Next thing you know you will want to have your OWN chickens, and your daughter has her OWN. Numbers start piling up fast after that. Meanwhile, welcome to the flock.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Raising chickens is great experience for children. My grandaughter (pictured in my avatar), loves our chickens. She's made lap pets out of our Black Australorps and Buff Orpingtons. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Do you know what breed of chickens you're going to be getting?
