This is my first year with my small flock and oh how satisfying!
I have been trying to get a multi color layer for my grands but have been unsuccessful. I understand the aracauna would be the best bird. How do I know what the chick looks like and what if I only want a few?

. Have you thought about EEs? They are quite common in feed stores.

I'm not sure what EEs are. Have been to the feed store where I found a little silver ony with a straight run-frying pan assortment

EE's are Easter Eggers. They have been known to lay blue, green, and even pinkish eggs depending on the individual.
