Hello from new chicken owner in NY

We just got our first chickens this month. We started with 5, a week later we had 7 and now we have 13! A friend bought a lot of 25 at an auction but didn't want or need all of them so we took 5 and later 2 more. They didn't give us any eggs so we bought some egg layers. I will have tons of questions.
