Wow! Thanks for the welcome. I would love to attach a pic of the coop I want. I found it on this site and found the plans on ebay. I think it will be too small though for 4-6 chickens even thought they thought it would be ok.

Wish me luck, I will try to attach the pic, but it looks complicated.

OMG look, I did it! How wonderful! OK this is what I would like to build. (maybe)
Too small (3x3) for 4 chickens? What do you think? We will build a big outside secured pen too.

just a suggestion why not
get a 4x8 sheet for the floor build up from that.
it would give more room for you ladies /
n' gents, they grow fast.

You will never be happy with just 4 birds! They are worse than potato chips! Go bigger! Trust us all in that little gem!

Oh, and up here in NH, if you can build on a little area for you to get in and out without letting out thier heat on chilly days, you will be so grateful! We converted an old shed, 2/3 for the chickens, insulated and seperate, 1/3 for me and my supplies, feed tubs etc. On snowy cold days, I go in thru my door, and they stay in and rumage around on the floor. They have thier own door out, but they dont like the deep snow much.

Think big, and settle smaller!
