Hello,

I've kept chickens for about 7 years now.

I've learned a lot along the way. But there is still so much to learn!

I'm increasing my flock size substantially this year as well as venturing into meat birds, only had layers so far. I'd also like to learn more about breeding.

So that's why I'm here...currently having a rooster issue, which is how I wondered into this space!

What is the rooster issue?

What is the rooster issue?
Currently integrating a new rooster to my flock. My other rooster went out trying to take on a fox.

New rooster is getting aggressive with me. But I can also tell he is SUPER stressed by the change. Pacing and crowing a ton. But he has already drawn blood. I'm teetering this line of making him comfortable to trust me while also letting him know who's in charge!
