Granny's gone and done it again

Sorry she's doing puny, Ducky. I had a hen that was laying paper thin brittle eggs for 2 years. Couldn't figure out which one was doing it but the shells were so thin that the other hens were breaking them just getting into the nest to lay their own eggs. Made for a mess and hens that wanted to break eggs. I found my oldest hen dead last month. She was of good weight. No outward signs of having anything wrong. Just found her feet up in a corner making me think she just succumbed to old age. But the paper thin brittle shelled eggs stopped. Must have just been an old hen thing.

Maybe your gal is fighting a reproductive infection. Or just has a glitch in her shell gland.

Is that easy to make? Can you use instant potatoes? Wonder if I could figure one out-the veggies.

Do you do more than one layer? Isn't there supposed to be some kind of gravy in the meat? OMG I made it years ago and don't remember crap

Your doing it the smart way. I mentioned a room to Nancy but she didn't say anything. I cant really afford it anyway. She gonna be wore out though.

Ask the hospital about a Ronald McDonald House, or the equivalent for adult patients. They may be able to help with a room.
