So happy when I see new members from Jersey!!
Build big, because chicken math happens. Accept that you might have to dispose of extra roosters, and never do laundry without checking pockets for eggs. You will also be pulling them out when shopping.

Chicks molt 3 to 4 times with the last one at about 22 weeks.

The molts are not often too drastic but you will notice a big change in the way they look after a molt
