Hi everybody we are chicken mad Kiwis our names are George &
Ruth
we breed and exhibit pekins [cochins] Wyandotte bantams and heavy birds and australorp bantams and heavy birds
landrace pigs and berkshire pigs
we are totally animal mad
1 cat , 3 dogs ,2 pheasants ,1 canary
an awful lot of poultry
about 15 pigs
we are on a dairy farm in the north island of New Zealand
and would love to here from other poultry mad people like us

I imagine it's rather warm and approaching harvest time there this time of year.

I've always wanted to go to New Zealand.

NZ is a very good place to live and it is very hot here but getting nippy in the morning and in winter it is bitterly cold and very wet

what weight are giant cochins they would be a mighty bird to hold , are they similar to heavy wyandottes in weight?
