Hello from New Zealand!

I just joined (finally) and thought I should introduce myself, I'm from Christchurch, New Zealand, And two weeks ago I rescued a 7 week blue orpington roo after not having chickens in 12 years. When I moved off my farm having backyard chooks never even crossed my mind until I came across this site! So happy to have them back in my life, Although I will have to rehome him once he starts crowing

I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
