Welcome to the United States from chilly Massachusetts!!! My daughter moved over to Scotland 2 years ago and her neighbors have a few chickens. My husband and I visited Scotland and Ireland for the first time back in October. It's beautiful there! I think you will enjoy the warm southern hospitality and the weather there in North Carolina.
