In Jan I had a coop built and got six Rhode Island Reds. They were approximately 3 months old. I saved myself mistakes and grief by reading the post from many of you. Thanks you BYC. My girls should be laying soon.

I love this site and looking forward being a member.

Glad you could join us here! Great to hear BYC has been helpful for you in getting your chicken adventures underway, it sure is a great place for lots of great information. Are those your girls in your avatar? They look very happy eating away there! Hope you don't have to wait too long for those first eggs :fl Its so exciting when you find those little treasures in the best box :D

Yes, that's my six girls I think. I have my eye on one that may be a rooster.
