Hello everyone, My wife and I have been researching chickens that past few weeks and decided to get some. So as of today we are the newest members of the chicken world. We are super excited. We have 6 Copper Marans, 1 Silkie, and 1 Mille Fleur. I'm sure our flock will grow over time...these little guys we just got are only 2 weeks old and it's fun to watch these little guys. Look forward to learning from all the people on the site that have been there and done that, thanks for reading :)
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens. I think you would enjoy joining your state thread - just put the name in the search box and it should pop up. You will probably be getting a greeting from NorthFlchick - she's the one who can fill you in on happenings in your neck of the woods.

Hi and thanks for the welcome, yes I have been reading in the Learning center all night lol...I always do tons of research when I get into something new....this is going to be a fun hobby.
