Hi. Just popping in to introduce myself. I live in beautiful Seattle, WA. I'm 48 and have wanted to keep my own chickens since I was in high school. Back then in So. Cal. the commercial eggs available were HORRIBLE! I had some buddies who lived close by the HS that had a huge chicken coop. We'd cut class and go to their place and smoke some pot. Then we'd raid the coop for eggs when we got the munchies. Man it seems like so long ago but those eggs were the best.
I'm in the planning stage still but I think I'll have my coop built within a week or two. I'm really in overlaod right now with all the great info on how to keep chickens I'm finding here too.

The store eggs can't compare with the homegrown ones round here either.
