Hi, just a quick intro. I am hen daft and old enough to know better!!! I was brought up on a farm and my Grandmother was great breeder of Hens and poultry in general. I had a break during my early 20's from hens, then inherited a pair when we moved house. This sparked off my interest again and my longing for their chatter. I am very new to forums so please be patient with me. I run a Guinea Pig rescue and give advice on their care and well being world wide through the internet.(hope that does not sound big headed!!) I have 24 hens at the moment and love them all. Hoping to hatch out some chicks this year. I love the rarer breeds and would love to start with Scots Dumpy or Scots Grey and build up a good flock but it is only a dream at the moment. I also have 3 dogs and 2 cats and around 20 fish.
