I've done quite well keep all manner of ground predators at bay with poultry netting charged with a 10,000 volt charger.Thank you. It was a series of unfortunate events this morning. My kid accidentally left the coop door ajar, and the neighbour who doesn’t have a dog had a houseguest who brought one who accidentally snuck out on her. On a normal day this isn’t an issue, but certainly gives us reason to double up our defences so that there isn’t a next time. We usually let our chickens free range but are thinking a run in front of the coop is a good idea this spring in case strange dogs ever get curious again and so that they can be locked up when we’re not able to keep a close eye.

I'm in northern, southwestern Ontario. We take a ferry to get across to your part of the province. It's always good to see new Canadians join. It's good to see new people from anywhere join. That's what makes this forum so interesting and fun.
