New to the forum. I have raised chickens for 35 years. I raise polish, right now buff laced and w.c. blue. Looking to get other colors. I have a flock of easter eggers that I just recently acquired for a breeding project. I am breeding my polish to easter eggers for the first cross. And the polishXeaster egger cross birds will be bred back to polish. The goal is to breed a easter egger with a nice size crest. And when you breed them,you never know what color or unusal color you will get. Just took my first f1 chicks out of the incubator last week. Not trying to create a new breed, just a chicken that strikes my fancy. Live in northeast ga.(baldwin,-banks county) Look forward to being a part of this forum.
