Hello Everyone,
My name is Danielle and I live in Walnut Creek just outside of San Francisco.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first chickens a little over a year ago and a few more chicken earlier this year. I got the first chickens the same week I got pregnant and ended up tossing my cookies every time I smelled the birds.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have five chickens. I got two last year and 3 more this year.
(3) What breeds do you have?
My oldest two are a Rhode Island Red and an Americauna. The younger birds are a Leghorn, Wellsummer, and Russian Orloff.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I used to tell people that I'm always up for a new adventure. Backpacking, skydiving, you name it and I'll try it. That said, I have a 6 month old baby so most of my adventures are a little more low key at the moment.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I are parents to a baby boy, a dachshund, a big mutt, and 5 chickens.
