Thanks! Yes BYC is filled with people who share a lot of the same interests and hobbies with chickens/poultry all connecting us!

Get some chicks

It's been a while since I posted -- but I'm glad to say that I now own 3 chickens (2 Speckled Sussex and 1 Blue Andalusian), and these three posts came to mind when I first got my Speckled Sussex chicks a little over a year ago. Despite really wanting to own chickens, I was a bit hesitant but still pulled the trigger. As they say, you only live once! So, with that said I wanted to say thank you and introduce to you my chickens!

Meet my Speckled Sussex hens, Walk Off (bigger comb) and Pick Six (smaller comb). Right now they're a little over a year old.

And meet Bases Loaded, my Blue Andalusian chick! She's just a little over two weeks old.
