I am a new chicken owner, I bought my little girls in September and October of last year and just started getting eggs about a month ago. I am up to 20 eggs a week with 3 regular layers and 2 new layers and 1 that hasn't had her turn yet. I have 2 Rhode Island reds, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Buff Ameraucana, 1 I'm not sure of and 1 Ameraucana hybrid (not sure what her mix was the hen was black ameraucana bantum but the people I got her from let their chickens mix so I don't know what kind of rooster got to her). She is the little chicken in my avatar and she lays the prettiest cream and pink eggs.
