Your black hen with muffs is likely an Easter Egger if she came from a farm store.
I keep bantams with my LF flock.

I had bantams with my main flock and such. However, I was free ranging and they slowly disappeared. Then, my favorite bantam was suddenly dead one morning and looked like another bird had killed her.

I could take the rest of the chickens from my main flock and put them in a new coop with bantams but I am worried they'll pick on them. But I'm considering building a coop out of pallets and moving my chickens out of their current coop and then adding geese in with my ducks lol.
