Hey guys! My name is Lauren and I just got my first 3 chicks almost 2 weeks ago! I am very excited get into chickens and I have a lot to learn! I am a licensed vet tech, I have a lot of experience with a variety of animals but chickens are a whole new world for me. Thank goodnes for a friend at work that has been helping me along! My chickies I have now include a Barred Rock, a Golden Laced Wyandotte and an Americana. Hoping for all pullets but after a lot of reading I am pretty sure my Barred rock is a roo. We also have 3 Buff Brahma's coming at the end of May! Any help and knowledge I can gain from you all is greatly appreciated!!

It is nice having you here!

Chickens are very easy to take care of. Many get into way too much of doing things with them.

Good feed, good water and shelter is pretty much it
