Hello from Northern Minnesota

Hi There - Just stopping in to say hi - I've been quietly stalking you guys for a while now Me & my husband & our kiddos live in northern Minnesota on 80 acres, bought the place in 2018 though it was a farm 100 years ago, it hasn't seen animals since probably the 60s. So we are starting out fresh with fencing, no barn, and have so far brought home 5 cows, 4 pigs-with 9 new babies, cats, dogs, and recently 50+ full grown chickens. I'll be seeing you around here, probably asking all kinds of questions!

I assume you have electric fencing to protect your animals from bears?
No barn... does that mean no shelter? It gets mighty cold in Northern Minnesota...
