Hello from Northern Minnesota!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be here.

I started my backyard chicken journey last month when I brought home 5 golden Wyandotte chicks. I’m hoping they are all hens as that is what I purchased, so fingers crossed the sexing was accurate!

I am located in Northern MN so I am a little anxious about their first winter so I hope to learn more about how to adequately care for my girls in -60F temps.

My girls are named:
1) Victoria Peckham
2) Princess Presto
3) Big Business
4) Cheeky Ibis
5) Frog

Hopefully, you have or will insulate, yet keep vents open so the humidity stays down, but draft free. That breed should do fine there! They may be a bit warm today though.
