I randomly found this forum and jumped on! I recently moved back to a small farm which has been owned by my family since my great grandfather's days on an island in middle Norway. We have a few muskovy ducks and a white hen we inherited from a friend after it was expelled from the flock. Before that we had icelandic hens, until a mink slaughtered them inside our barn. My son is just about to start with old norse sheep on a neighbouring island. I am looking forward to read articles and comments on birdkeeping, and see what you other guys are up to!

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.

I have relatives that live back on the family farm in Norway in an area called Vic.
