I love Saskatchewan ❤️ I have lived several places in Saskatchewan and I am heading up to big river this summer for a visit.. we were living near lloydminster before moving here.. I’m from Nova Scotia originally but Saskatchewan is my home away from home!

..eventually there will be more horses.. a few more to the herd anyway.but I have my hands full as it is with my mare she is 14 but a lot of work she has been quite the project she is sort of still in rehab mode from a previous home where she lost her trust.. and my gelding is coming 3 this spring and I will be starting him..my children are still very young my oldest has started riding but as far as her own horse..that will have to wait..too much to do around here purchasing more horses isn’t a top priority at the moment.

Oh yes! :D If only it was possible to do everything we want all at once!

And I totally understand about rehab mode. I had a gelding that didn't trust a soul and would flinch and bolt at the mere sight of a halter and lead rope or any sudden movements. I had to "trick" him into a stall and spend time next to him just doing endless jumping jacks, squirting a spray bottle in the corner, folding towels or any mundane activity just to get him desensitized a bit. And the halter on and off repeatedly without any riding for weeks maybe months, just for him to realize all things were not terrifying. He eventually turned out to be the sweetest, calmest and most most bomb-proof horse ever... he was my dearest companion.

All the time you put in will be totally worth it! Good luck achieving your goals. :thumbsup
