Hi everybody!

I don't have chickens anymore but I've had bantams and chickens for years, through thick and thin, pox, foxes... it was a heck of a ride!! Mostly though, I am a quail keeper I've had quail since I was 5 years old, starting with a pair of button quail and slowly evolving from there. So far I've had Japanese quail, bobwhite quail, California quail and of course buttons. I love them all!

My most recent venture however has been a foray into pheasants! I have two lady amherst pheasants and zero experience with pheasants jahaha, but I'm learning as I go. the birds have lovely temperaments and are great to watch, so curious. I'm excited to spend the next however many years with them!

I hope to make some friends here who are also fowl/pheasant/quail enthusiasts but I do plan on getting chickens again in the next few years, so I would like to amass some of your practical experience with my own

Hope you enjoy raising the Ruff pheasants, they are the easiest of the pheasants to raise. I've raised pheasants for over 48 years.
