In the Brooder
Hi everybody!
I don't have chickens anymore but I've had bantams and chickens for years, through thick and thin, pox, foxes... it was a heck of a ride!! Mostly though, I am a quail keeper
I've had quail since I was 5 years old, starting with a pair of button quail and slowly evolving from there. So far I've had Japanese quail, bobwhite quail, California quail and of course buttons. I love them all!
My most recent venture however has been a foray into pheasants! I have two lady amherst pheasants and zero experience with pheasants jahaha, but I'm learning as I go. the birds have lovely temperaments and are great to watch, so curious. I'm excited to spend the next however many years with them!
I hope to make some friends here who are also fowl/pheasant/quail enthusiasts but I do plan on getting chickens again in the next few years, so I would like to amass some of your practical experience with my own
