In the Brooder
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes. I’ve wanted them for a while. We finally live outside city limits so I thought I’d give it a try.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I ordered from Cackle and they should be hatching June 1.
(3) What breeds do you have? I ordered Polish and bantam Cochin.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I think it will be fun to watch them. Eggs are a bonus.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Cooking & jigsaw puzzles.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My wife is awesome. I have one 20+ daughter and two cats.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
just about a month I guess. Lots of people giving good advice and helping with my coop build.
