Hello From NY

Hi Everyone!!

I'm Laura, a home schooling mama from NY. I have 7 red star hens and one Rooster. They just started laying eggs. I'm so excited but also very new to chickens.
I have lots of question and was told that this is a very knowledgeable and friendly place.

I'm looking forwards to meeting everyone and getting to know more about my chickens.

Welcome to BYC, Laura! If you don't mind me asking, where in NY are you? I'm from WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up North on the Quebec border (in fact, I now live in Southern Quebec, about 8 minutes from US Customs, lol). There are a lot of us from NNY around here!

OH Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm in Orange county , NY..about 90 minutes from NYC.
I've been up to Canda, I'd love to live farther up buy my hubby works in NYC and travels.
