I bet you'll have no problems teaching your GSDs to behave around the chickens

It takes work in the beginning, but it's well worth it!

My boy herds them back in, brings me baby chicks (and sparrows) if he finds them in the yard.

Hi! And welcome. I've done ALOT of research to find a good dog to guard the flock. It's unanimous, GSD's are the best. Now I just need to get one. Ever consider building a coop/run at the school? It might be great for the kids
