We just recently started hatching our own chickens for pure enjoyment. The kids love it and there is nothing like fresh eggs. Right now we just have a random mix of mutts and some Easter eggers. I would eventually like to get a little more serious with it but know very little about breeds at this point, hence the reason I'm here. BYC has been a huge help in getting us started
